I finished art college and wanted to be an artist but the imposter syndrome kicked in and I built myself a career in marketing instead. It worked, but it never felt like the thing I was meant to be doing.
A few years ago I read an article about living in a way that aligns with who you really are. It made me look at the next chapter of my life and realise that painting had always been the place where I felt most myself. Picking up my brushes again felt natural and overdue, and it brought genuine joy back into my life.
My work centres on colour, light and atmosphere across landscapes, flowers and figures. I want my pieces to carry a mood and feel alive in a room, the kind of work that becomes a focal point and reveals more over time.
